This experience will include your pick up from the airport and transfer to the volunteer camp from San Jose Airport. If you are joining for four week, for the first two weeks you will explore the unparalleled beauty of the Osa Peninsula and the Corcovado National Park, learn about regenerative organic practices, produce organic food, and engage in vital community and environmental awareness including sea turtle conservation. This will really truly immerse you in Costa Ricas natural wonders and remote communities.
Your final two weeks of this immersive experience unfolds in the vibrant town of Santa Teresa located on the Nicoya Peninsula. Known for its stunning sunsets, exceptional surfing spots, and thrivng yoga scene, you will be in an energetic and vibrant atmosphere. You can also opt to join the Nicoya Peninsula mid way and do just 2 weeks.
Do bear in mind that you are not going to be living in luxury - But the simplicity of life by the beach means that the lessons learned here are not all about conservation – you will learn about life in rural communities in the developing world, and that tablets and TVs are not the only form of entertainment.
