Volunteering for Over 50’s
Incredible gap years for the over 50’s
Volunteering abroad is a rewarding and life changing experience at any age, and we offer a number of rewarding gap years for the over 50’s which are ideal for the over 50s. These include English teaching, medical and health volunteering, women’s empowerment, wildlife or marine conservation, arts volunteering, and even yoga and volunteer work combined. But unlike the big corporate companies, we don’t have a one size fits all program structure. We work with you to develop your perfect over 50’s gap year program. We also understand that at any age, at any stage in life, every volunteer has his / her own personal needs and requirements, and so we’re flexible to ensure that we can accommodate any age group.
Global gap year experiences for the over 50’s
Our over 50s volunteering programs are designed to broaden your horizons, expand your mind and heart and create life-enhancing experiences. So, if you’re inspired by travelling around the world and doing great things to give back to communities as you set your own path, we invite you to join our friendly team across some of the most incredible and fascinating locations.
Our destinations include India, Nepal, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, South Africa, and the historic Peru. Our carefully selected program partners and hand-picked locations have all been tried and tested by our own team and strike the perfect balance between off the beaten path destinations and close proximity or easy access to tourist sites and cities. You’ll really be able to personalise your experience, creating the perfect over 50’s gap year experience for you.
In addition to our carefully curated programs and locations, we’ll take care of all the little details such as transfers and accommodation, daily meals, program excursions or cultural activities. For a little extra you can get single room and air conditioning upgrades.
