Nepal provides an unparalleled learning environment for students in healthcare fields. From modern hospitals in Kathmandu to rural outreach clinics in surrounding areas, you’ll see the full spectrum of medical practice.
Here’s why our participants love this program:
🏥 Comprehensive Clinical Exposure: Learn about healthcare systems in a developing country while shadowing professionals in hospitals.

Medical Intership In Nepal - Kathmandu
Gain Real Medical Experience in Nepal
Nepal’s healthcare system faces unique challenges, especially in rural and underprivileged areas. Limited resources, understaffed hospitals, and a lack of access to modern medical infrastructure make it an invaluable place to learn and contribute.
As part of our medical and nursing internship, you will:
Shadow qualified doctors, nurses, and surgeons in both public and private hospitals.
Observe clinical procedures, diagnostic practices, and patient management.
Learn about tropical and altitude-related diseases, maternal health, and community healthcare issues.
Understand the public health system and preventive medicine approaches in resource-limited settings.
Your tasks will depend on your level of training and background.
First and second-year students may assist with patient check-ins, vital sign monitoring, preparing equipment, and observing minor procedures.
Advanced medical and nursing students may be involved in case discussions, assisting doctors with wound dressings, vaccinations, and health awareness programs.
This program offers a rare opportunity to gain firsthand experience in global health while contributing to Nepal’s healthcare efforts.

Nepal has captured the imagination of travelers for centuries, with its impossibly large mountains, serene monasteries, and beautiful cultural heritage. It is an increasingly popular destination for backpackers, adventurers, and other wanderers, who come hoping to absorb some of the spirituality the country is known for. With one-third of the population who live under the poverty line, it is one of the least developed nations in Asia. Nepal allows travelers to give back to the country, taking their trip beyond personal spiritual enrichment and into practical, useful, and productive support.
